After a successful advertising agency copywriting career that included Creative Director roles at Chicago-based Foote, Cone & Belding and Campbell Mithun Esty, I began my own freelance company in 1995 for two reasons. One, Campbell Mithun Esty was sold, and subsequently closed, by Saatchi. And two, I was quite frankly happier writing copy than I was being a manager. I’m proud of my reputation as one of Chicago’s top freelance advertising copywriters, based not only on my talents but also how I earn and maintain my clients’ trust.
