I’m a Salt Lake City based communications professional, photographer, and educator. After earning an English BA from the University of Michigan (along with picking up a couple minors on the way) I moved back to my home town, Detroit, to take part in and help spur forward the city’s revitalization.

Since graduation, I’ve taught high school English, worked in the steel industry, spent a year doing nonprofit consultation via the nationally touted Challenge Detroit Fellowship, and contracted with technology firms on topics ranging from public equitable internet access to fiber optic engineering education. These days, I’ve leaned into my creative roots, striving to drive impact via meaningful, compelling storytelling.
