Thank you for visiting my profile! I am a New Mexico-based copywriter specializing in digital content for local businesses. I moved into copywriting after a decade as a book editor and copyeditor with a simple aim: to help businesses share their stories with the people who love them—and the people who will.

About Grace:

I started Wax Tablet in 2017 after more than a decade of working with content in various forms. After graduating cum laude from Princeton in 2006, I worked in publishing in New York for about five years. Initially I was an editorial assistant at Oxford University Press; ultimately I was an acquisitions editor there. My next position was as a senior acquisitions editor at Voyageur Press in Minneapolis, where I acquired and edited pop culture books. After moving to beautiful New Mexico, I worked for a while as a freelance copyeditor and editor for academic and trade presses.

I moved into marketing in 2016, a scary career transition that ended up being amazing. As a content marketing manager at a local tech company, I discovered how much creativity and strategy go into content writing—and how fulfilling it is to provide a service that truly helps businesses. I became a freelance copywriter to offer that service for any business that needs it.
